Our promise to you is that your special order will not only be baked with love, but created using the freshest, highest quality ingredients.

Our Pantry:

Oh, the lovely things that line the shelves of The Little Orangery Pantry - sugar, spice, + all things nice!

We are oh so fussy when it comes to our dry ingredients - our types of flour are strictly White Wings or Lighthouse - no other brands allowed! These are both notable, long-standing, Australian brands that we trust!

We favour CSR for our sugars, Queen Organic range for our vanilla bean paste, Nestlé Plaistowe for our chocolate elements, and other noteworthy Aussie brands such as McKenzie’s, Lucky, + Hoyt’s for raising agents, nuts, + spices respectively.

One special label sneaks into our pantry all the way from France - for our jam, we favour the one + only St. Dalfour.

Our Fridge:

All dairy products, from butter to milk to cream cheese are always full-cream, organic where possible, + of renowned Australian or New Zealand labels.

Our eggs are always locally-sourced and free range - this option is freshest and helps produce a higher quality bake - we also feel strongly for the welfare of animals, and our hearts are a little lighter knowing that our eggs pop out of happy hens!

Any fruits required for our Apple Blossom Tarts or Banana + Walnut Breads are organic - in addition to being better for us, there is a significant difference in the quality of flavour!

Any miscellaneous ingredients used to create our dairy-free or vegan recipes, such as dairy-free butter + almond/oat milk are always Australian + also organic/cold pressed when available.

Our edible colours are sourced from Colour Mill - an Australian-based + family-owned business, that produces a bounteous range of oil-based liquid pigments that blend harmoniously with our buttercream!

We use none other than Picnart Sugar for our nonpareils (fancy for sprinkles) - they offer charming colour combinations, + we love their huge range of gluten + vegan-friendly options!

Our edible florals are harvested from our very own garden here at The Little Orangery, however, if we are decorating a special celebration cake, the GC Flower Market is our go-to for the freshest, seasonal blooms!
